Internship length : 3 months initially, with an opportunity to continue the internship upon successful completion of the 3 months.

Option for Part-Time : 24/32 hours per week, if not available to work full-time.

What You'll Do :

Apply principles and techniques of engineering, mathematics, and computer science to the design, development, and testing of business software applications. May work as a member of a scrum team across the entire software development lifecycle.

Designs, develops and improves software applications/platforms. The multi-facet role may provide the opportunity to work in any part of the development stack across diverse software languages.

Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including applications, operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools. Scales systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolves systems to improve reliability, supportability, and velocity.

Build high-performance, horizontally scalable, low latency service using the latest technologies and handle information at an extensive scale. Evaluate and bring to bear new technologies in the product architecture. Participate in a variety of professional development opportunities, network with the senior executive leadership team, give back to your local community, and socialize with a community of global technologists.

What skills are required :

* Problem-solving instincts/Abilities
* Very good knowledge of Java
* Interest in test automatisation
* Passion for technology and creating quality software applications, with test-driven development and Continuous Integration / Delivery
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team
* Ability to work multi-functionally in solving complex problems
* Basic knowledge of additional programming languages (JavaScript and/or/Kotlin preferred)
* Programming background in object-oriented development and Design Patterns
* Basic understanding of HTTP, HTML and CSS languages/protocols

Who You Are :

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Science or similar level/point of interest studies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
* Must be based and eligible to work and study in Poland without any additional Visa support or sponsorship from Cisco
* Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic environments
* Providing us with a GitHub link is considered a plus.
